“She could do no wrong on camera. Whatever character she plays, you are guaranteed she will find truth.”
T.S. Meeks, Writer & Director
Megan is recognized for playing characters that are no-nonsense, scrappy, quirky, fearless and strong.
She plays opposite Marlon Wayans in the Netflix original, NAKED, using her decade of improv skills to find subtle disgust in every take of this Groundhog Day-esque comedy. She plays a threatening bartender across Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr. in THE REASON.
Her role in TO US garnered the attention of Sundance with its unspoken heart-breaking tension. Megan co-starred opposite Keegan-Michael Key and ‘the gang’ in the hugely successful, longest running sitcom in history, IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA.
Her highly recognizable character “Kim The Matchmaker” has become the face of Ford in the Southeast, shooting dozens of commercials and running for over two years.
Megan brings a magnetic truth to her beautifully flawed characters.
WANDERING THROUGH THE WEEDS…RAW, UNFILTERED AND UNTAMED.
Hey Friends! I’m Megan but my friends call me Meg. I’m really happy that you’re here.
I’m an actress and producer and recently I became a mamma. I’m also a striving plant-based eater, an amateur DIYer, a laugher, an earth lover, and a motivational leader. I’ve been told I have #nofilter.
I’ve been an actress for over a decade working with some of the most talented (and also my favorite) people on earth. I got my start working with Jeff Daniels in his teeny theatre in Chelsea, MI. I moved to New York City where I worked at another teeny theatre in the West Village where I met Beau Willimon and he wrote me the first play I ever produced. I moved to Los Angeles and was cast with the Gang of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” who are the epitome of the actor/producer success story. I’ve been using my Michigan work ethic to continue doing the things I was made for. To quote the greatest most inspirational lady herself, “An actor’s only job is to enter the lives of people who are different from us and let you feel what that feels like.” That’s why I do what I do.
My art, passion and God given talent is to step inside and show what it’s like to be in someone else’s shoes. To be open and vulnerable and affected by the human condition. I hope to inspire that in you too.
